If you are a business (for-profit; non-profit; multi-family housing provider, etc.) call 802-828-3211:

If you are a business looking to report damage to your business or would like to speak to someone about additional resources available, please call 802-828-3211. The ACCD has set up a system to document damage to businesses and properties (both for and non-profit businesses, including multi-family housing providers and services) in order to assist FEMA in their collection of information.

Did you experience damage from Tropical Storm Irene? You may be eligible for help from FEMA. To register, call 800-621-3362.  You can also register online at w-w-w dot Disaster Assistance dot gov or by mobile device at m-dot-fema-dot gov. Remember, calling 2-1-1 does not register you for FEMA. When you call make sure to have some basic information ready. That includes your current telephone number; address at the time of the disaster and current address; Social Security number, and a list of damages and losses. If you are insured, you should have the name of your insurance company and your policy number. For a direct deposit, have your bank routing number available. After registering, you’ll be called about having a property inspection. Call 800-621-3362 today.

Red Cross Donations:

At this time, financial contributions provide the greatest flexibility for a Red Cross response. Donations can be made at www.vermontredcross.org or by calling 800-660-9130. For those who are interested in volunteering, they can register on line at www.vermontredcross.org and click on the red "Volunteer" button on the left. You can also call 1-800-660-9130, ext. 107.

Rental Resources:

To help FEMA identify temporary housing options for displaced Vermonters, please notify it of available private rental units by calling 1-866-330-5286 or faxing the information to 540-686-4467. (FEMA has been provided information on all vacancies in state and federally-supported housing.) Let them know you want to provide "rental resources" and give the following information.
• Address including street name, county, state.
• Name of owner
• Contact phone number for owner
• # of units
• # of bedrooms
• Amount of rent
• Utilities provided (all, none, cable, trash pick up, water/sewer, electric, gas, heating oil.)
